'■Unfortunately, inuli'i- present eonditions," adds Mr. Cameron, "1 regret that it is quite impossible to tell those enquiring where retail pun-liases of genuine New Zealand butter can be'made. The butter is not retailed as New Zealand, but dimply Hi vulonial/ which term embraces all butter from (Jueenslaud. New South WaJefl, Victoria, etc. No guarantee, therefore, can be given that Now Zealand butter will be obtained when asked for. The sale of 'milled' butter or other secondary New Zealand butter as 'New Zeai land' also does not help io advance the reputation of the produce of the Dominion. The advertising and retail distribution of New Zealand butter in thix , country is a subject well worthy of tin attention of the National Dairy A.-:so uiation of New Zealand."
