MARTON TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. Martou, Last Night. A howling tournament concluded at Marlon on Saturday. J. A. Nash's team from l'ahnerston, and whipli represents r.hat town at Auckland, won the big event, and Patterson Bros., two, veteran bowlers from St. John's Club, Wanganui, won the doubles from Sntelifl'c and Sharpe (Marton) after an exciting and clospiv-contestcd >game. Harry Sutcliffe (Marlon) secured the championship for singles, and 11. Hunt and A. W. Woolley (Marton) won the consolation pairs.
