DISASTROUS EXPLOSION.

Rome, December 20. By an explosion at a privately owned arms factory in Palermo twenty-five men were killed and one hundred injured.

Two buildings, including the Emigrants' Hotel, were involved in the explosion, »nd a cab which was passing at the time was blown to atomsFifty bodies have been recovered from the ruins. The majority in the vicinity were returned emigrants, including 15 women and eight children.
