l'er Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Mr. G. S. Munro, who was general manager of the Exhibition, has severed his connection with the Public Service. He will leave for l'ic West Coast tomorrow night, and leave there for England next month. The following ladies have been appointed by the Government district agents under the Infant Life Protection Act:—Miss Sarah Elizabeth Jackson (manager of Auckland Industrial School), Mrs. Ella Stuart Dick (manager of the Wellington Receiving Home), Miss Anna Blachfonl Cox (manager of the Chi'istclrarch Receiving Home), Miss Harriettc Petremant (manager of the Cavereham Industrial School, Dunedin. ' Tlii! Prime Minister, the Minister fo; Lands (Hon. R. McNab), and the Minister for Education (Hon. G. Fowlds) are the members of the Cabinet at present' in Wellington. Sir Joseph Ward will leave for Christchurch to-morrow night to attend the dedication of a set of belle at the Anglican Church, Addington, in memory of the late Mr. Seddon. Mr. I'owlds will go to Auckland to-morrow. The Minister for Labor (Hon. J. A. Millar) left for that city this morning. A rowing match between crews representing Wellington and Wanganui Colleges was rowed to-day over a mile course. The Wanganui lads led from the start, and won comfortably by three lengths. The annual meeting of the Gear Meat Company was held to-night. The directors' report was adopted, recommending a dividend of 10 per cent, (less interim dividend of 4 per cent, paid in June), also a bonus of 2'/ 3 per cent, on paid-up capital out of the insurance fund. Mesurs. H. Beauchamp, N. lleid, and Dr. Newman were re-elected to the directorate.

The cricket match between Wellington and Wanganui Colleges concluded to-day, Wellington winning by four wickets. Wellington made 242 (Grace 92, Martin 44, Findlay 25) and 57 for six wickets (Grcatbatch 20). Wanganui made 123 (Wheeler 30 not out) and 171 (Fuller-ton-,Smith 29, Knight 25, Wheeler 24).
