A SUCCESSFUL BURN. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Trials have been mailt l in Wellington with the kaolin clay found near New Plymouth, in order to test its suitability for the manufacture of pottery. A number of articles have been made of excellent color, texture, ami appearance. It is considered that when the article, which comprise firebricks, drainpipes, tilev etc., are burnt in a kiln that does not Vonlain ordinary firebricks, the results will exceed those already obtained.
