ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised on Thursday afternoon at the Bell Block Hull at which the Rev. i\ Latter officiated. Mis. contracting parties were Mr Harry Salway, eldest son u. Mr F. Salway, and Miss Ivy Sole, eldest daughter of Mr Gus Sole. The Church was idled with friends of the parties. Miss Street presided at the organ, and played the "Wedding March" as the happy couple left the Cliurch. The biide looked charming in a pretty dress of cream evep-dc-ehene, handsomely trimmed with chiffon and gathered ribbons. She wore the usual spray of orange blossoms over a beautifully embroidered veil, and a handsome pearl pendant, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids, Miss May Sole and Miss May Salway, were prettily attired in white embroidered ''dresses, and wore greenstone pendants, gifts of the bridegroom. The bride carried a handsome bouquet made by .Mrs Clem. Webster, and the bridesmaids' bouquets were made by Mrs J. Downs. The bride was given away by her father. Mr Claude Cape] acted as best man, and Jlr Gordon Salway as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the. residence of the bride's parents, where a large number of friends were entertained, and the usuil toasts honored. Til l ' young couple left shortly afterwards for their future home at Warea, and a large number of friends were entertained in the evening hy Mr and Mrs Sole. The bride and bridegroom, who are deservedly popular, were the recipients of a very large number of handsome presents, both useful and ornamental.
