In connection with the recent seizure of German goods by a British warship on tin" Uland of Abumusa, Herr Moenckhaus, senior partner of the German firm involved, declares the action of the gunboat Lapwing in making the seizures was unjustifiable, sinee there was no coal or firearms on Abumusa. The firm only worked the oxide mines under a legal contract let to Moenckhaiis. It is believed the incident will -non lie settled amicably.
