For Australian States, at 6.15 a.m. Due in Sydney on December 21. For Ceylon, India, China, Straits Settlements, Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, via Suez, at 0.15 a.m. Due in London on January 25.

For Auckland and the North, per Takapuna, at 7 p.m. BBIDAY, DECEMBER 20. For Auckland and the North, per Rarawa. at 7 p.m. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21. For Wellington and the South, per Takapuna, at 11 a.m. For Australian States, at 7 p.m. Due in Sydney on December 27. For South Africa, per Runic, from Melbourne, at 7 p.m. Due in Durban about January 25.

For Auckland and the North, per Rotoiti, at 7 p.m.

Mails for Fiji close at Auckland, per ITauroto, on December 24.

The next despatch for Canada and the United States of America will leave New Plymouth on December 23. to connect with the Hauroto at Auckland.

On and after the Kith Deceinlier, 1907, the rate for inland postcards will be as follows:—Single, Vid; reply, Id. To places beyond Xew Zealand Postal Union rates will continue to be charged, namely, single Id, reply 2d. On and after the Ist January, 1008, the postage on inland letters and lettercards will be Id for the first 4ozs or fraction therof, and '/ 2 d for each succeeding 2ozs or fraction thereof. The postage in inland registered magazines will be reduced from the latter date to Id for each copy not exceeding luozs, aud Id for each additional 16ozs or fraction therof.

The Registration Fee will be reduced to 2d for all places from the same date.

LETTER POSTAGE TO PLACES BE YOND NEW ZEALAND. On and after October Ist, 1907, the rales of postage on letters and letter cards addressed to places beyond New Zealand* will be as follows:

The United Kingdom, British possessions and countries at present named in lift on page 3 of the postal guide, Id ior each ounce or fraction thereof; all -jther places 2'/ 2 d for the first ounce and ly 2 d for each succeeding ounce or traction thereof.
