. Wellington, Last Night. Lieutenant Sbackleton lectured on Antarctica before a very large audience in the town Hall to-night. At the conclusion he was heartily cheered. Lieut Snackleton states that all arrangements in connection with his expedition to the boutli Polar regions are progressing very satisfactorily, and he still hopes to get away on New Year's Day. uf the remainder of the staff, Sir Philip lirocklchurst arrives in Wellington tomorrow, and seven other members of the expedition will arrive in Christehurcu on Thursday. ?<*uiuvu
