LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY. Per Press Association. Auckland, Tuesday. -> in a letter to an ollicial of the Auckland Rugby Union, dated 7th November, Air. J, C. Uleeson, who is acting as secretary to the New Zealand professional footballers, says:-"Professionalism w extending ail through Wales, and I think Swansea and Cardiff will be playing proicssional football next year. In nine matched played so far we have far exceeded the takings of the last team. We expect tremendous gates at Wigan, Oldham, and Hunslet (26th December). After next week it will be all proats, as the expenses are now all {aid. "We will probably play three test' matches-one m Leicester (which has also revolted against the amateur code), one in Wales, and o ne m London. I honestly think this tour will realise £IO,OOO profits."
