DAIRY PRODUCE REPORT. Messrs. E. Griffiths and Co., dairy product- exporters, New Plymouth, are in receipt of the following market report from their London principals, dated November 1, 1907: Butter—Fairly bright, opcß weather, with some showers, has been experienced nearly all over the country. For this season of the year it is very mild. Danish—No change has taken place this week. The general feeling is that prices must not be forced up any higher. French—The quantity coming into I the markets in both Normandy and Britj tany k heavier, and shippers arc show- | ing a little more disposition to meet i buyers.

Wlierian—Arrivals total up to about 8000 casks, but some of it is very l»d in flavour. It is evident now that the drought in Siberia was much exaggerated, and the butter was held back in store there.

Australian and New Zealand—The butters ex Mongolia and Medic from Australasia opened up well, and have realised, as wc anticipated, an advance over last week's quotations. Both salted and unsalted are badly wanted, the latter making a premium of about 2s over the salted.

Cables report some rains in Victoria, and New South Wales. We trust these will continue, as otherwise the outlook will be berkm-s for all concerned. There has been no arrival from New Zealand this week, and nothing due until the Corinthic arrives, about the middle of (he month. At present there are no "finest" offering, the few on show being poor in flavour. Cheese —As we reported in our last, the keen edge is off the demand, and buyers are having the advantage in price, only buying from "hand to -iiouth." Quotations: —
