Palmerston ±\'orlh, December 12, M a meeting of Hie i'iaxiniilers' Assoeiatiou to-day, members strongly condemned the letters which have appeared in the Xew Zealand Times defendim- the output of low-grade hemp because, the writer considered, it might pay better than Ingher grades. The Mauawatu millers considered that every effort should be made to improve the quality, and decided to send two delegates to \\ eilmgtoii to inspect the hemp passing through the grading sheds. °
