A MYSTERIOUS TRAGEDY.
Sydney, Decern, er 12. The liody of a fourteen-yc.ir old boy named Oswald Barlow, was found on the ocean beach near Manley with a hatpin driven into his heart. The lad liad ben missing for some days. 1. is stated that he had been depressed through the departure of his brother to New Zealand a few w»eks ago, but the manner of his death would indicate foul play rather than suicide. A quantity of linotype metal and nails was found in bis pockets.
Received December 13, 1.12 a.m. Sydney, December 12.
The post-mortem disclosed a hat pin hi Barlow's heart- Death was due to drowning.
