Per Press Association. Timaru, Monday. Interviewed here this morning, Sir Joseph Ward said:—''! have just received a letter from Mr. Hall-Jones, in which he states that the physicians he has consulted at Home have informed him that the complaint from which he suffered was not chronic, and that, acting on this advice, added to the fact that he felt well, he would, on return to the Dominion, resume his Ministerial work."
