SURRENDER OF THE BLOC. FURTHER UiVOAII. lleccivud December 6, 10.14 p.ni. Berlin, December 0. The Bloc tendered to Count Buelow in the Reichstag, amidst their supportera' cheers and opponents' hilaritv an assurance of allegiance. " The uproar during the rest of the sitting of the Reichstag was so great that (the imperial Estimates ar/d the |iew> Navy Bill were read firstly without discussion.
A Bill for the renewal of the favoured treatment pf the British Empire for another two years was read a first and second time. It is understood that all paries favoured the Bill, London, December 8. The Times' Berlin correspondent suggests that Count Buelow wished for an opportunity to crack the Governmen' whip before really serious finance and other matters were discussed, By this means he secures the Bloc's binding confession of faith. They are thrown on their own responsibility in regard to the crisis, and this will safeguard Count Buelow's own position.
