•The Natal Advertiser's correspondent at Eshowe states that Dinizulu repeatetly offered to go to Maritzbiirg whenever required. He is ill, suffering nom swollen legs. The Commissioner of Zululand conferred with Colonel Mackenzie, and accompanied a portion of the troops to the front. Dinizulu telegraphed to the Government expressing surprise at the preparations, and asking why. if it was thought he was in the wrong, he was Hot tried and punished if guilty. The telegram is attributed to the presence of two hundred police, who are witching .TJsntn until the main force arrives. The Government acknowledged the message, hut has not modified its plans.
