NIGHTCAPS MINE MANSLAUGHTER CASE.

Per Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. John Lloyd, manager of the Nightcaps nunc, was charged to-day that "on tne 21st day of June, 1007, he committed manslaughter by culpably causing the deatn of William Duncan, William Short Carson, and Patrick Welsh, being an indictable ■ offence." The Crown Prosecutor, in opening the case, reviewed the evidence already covered in the previous proceedings, and called witnesses, whose depositions were substantially the same as those already given. The case is unfinished.
