A PATENTEE'S RIGHTS.

Per Press Association. Wellington, Thursday. The first opposed, application for the extension of a patent in the Dominion was decided by 'the Chief Justice today. It referred to Wade's patent skylight. The evidence showed that £9OOO had already been made out of the patent, of which the patentee himself had only made £SOO, the balance going to licensees. His Honor recommended an extension for three years only, but imposed conditions that the licensee must pay Wade a royalty of 2d per foot on the output, whilst the maximum price to be charged to the public should be 2s (Id per foot.
