Received 2(ith, 10.50 p.m. Sydney, November 20. At the meeting of the Bank of New South Wales, the net profits for ttie half-year were shown at £142,900, which was added to £29,3 U from the previous half-year. A dividend at the rate of 10 per cent per annum was declared, £30,000 added to reserve, and £31,645 carried forward. The president said the indications throughout their business was that spare money was being more freely used for investment than had been the case for some years.
