HEARING OF THE CASE. Per Press Association. Duncdin, Last Night. The hearing of the claim made by Harrison against the London Dental Company for damages amounting to C2OOO was continued to-day. Several medical men were examined on behalf of plaintiffs case. Their evidence was to the effect that the condition of plaintill' pointed to the existence of a tooth or some foreign, substance in his lung, and that in the extensive anaesthesia for the extraction of a large number of teeth a medical man or an expert in the administration of anaesthetics

should be in charge. Several dentists were also called, who epoke to the rules followed by themselves. Mr. Hanlon opened the case for defendants, and slated that evidence would be called to show that plaintiff's condition was due to tubercle complaint. He argued that even if a foreign substance was actually in the lung, it had to be proved to the satisfaction of the Court that it* presence was due to negligence and want of skill on the part of defendants, Moses and Pittar. Defendant Moses gave evidence that he and a young lady attendant were present during the preliminary stage of placing plaintiff under gas, and that then an attendant named Milroy came into the room and assisted. Mil-

Roy attended to the sponges, Miss O'Keefc administered the anaesthetic under his superintendence, while witness did the extracting of the teeth. Witness detailed how every car«-4NMiiM* and everything ho could think of done to resuscitate the patient when he collapsed. ■ ,£|.jj
