THE ORANGIA ELECTIONS.
SUCCESS OF THE I'ItOGRESSIVES. Received 22nd, 0.1 a.m. Pretoria, Noveiubr 21. In connection with the Orangia elections, the Progressive Constitutionalists carried Bloemfontein, winning four seats by large majorities, and lost the fifth by two votes. j. London, November 21." The Times says that the Upper House will consist of five supporters of Orangio L'nie, five Constitutionalists, and Steyn's brother-in-law, P. Blignaut, holding the balance of' the odds. The new Council, the paper says, is both strong and representative.
