M C.C. v. VICTORIA. FOURTH DAYS PLAY. AN INTERESTING GAME. Received 19th, 10.11 p.m. Melbourne, November 19. The weather was fine when play was resumed, and the wicket played remarkably well after three days' hard wear, The balance of the Victorian wickets took the greater part of the day to dispose of, yielding some excellent cricket. Ransford played a great innings, treating all the bowling, the changes of which ■were frequent, with great freedom, lie gave one chance. He and Vernon provided the liveliest play in the match.
