Blake, a farmer, while leaving a chapel at Kilconieran, in (ialway, after Mass. under police escort, wa* thriee shot at from a thicket and wounded in the hip and head. The outrage is attributed to Ills refusal to surrender to the Irish League a gra** farm held under Lord AidiflaiL Pellets also wounded Make** mother, who was accompanying him.
