KAISER'S VISIT TO ENGLAND
RECEPTION IN LONDON. London, November 13. The Kaiser and Kaiserin were presented with an address of welcome and entertained at luncheon at the Guildhall- There were 840 guests present. Ureat enthusiasm was displayed in the thoroughfares through which their Majesties passed. PROTEST FROM THE UNEMPLOYED. EXPENDITURE ON A " DESPOTIC REACTIONARY." Received Nov. 14, 10.25 p.m. London, November 14. After the Royal procession left the Guildhall, a number of unemployed attempted to march through the city, but the police dispersed them after arresting five. A telegram was thereupon sent to the Lord Mayor protesting against lavish entertainment on Fiu-h a despotic reactionary as the Kaiser, when twelve million Britisher, were 011 the verge of starvation. They insisted that the Government's duty was to find work for all the unemployed. The Kaiser decorated the Lord Mayor, Sheriffs, and many others.
