ELIMINATING THE "SHOKT CUT." The Premier, in moving the second reading of the Divorce- and Matrimonial Causes Act Amendment Bill explained that the Bill repealed section eleven of the Act of 1004, which made it possible to obtain a divorce 011 the ground of desertion (by collusion in six months.
