NEW PLYMOUTH CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.

ANNUAL meeting. The annual meeting of the New IMyinouth Caledonian Society was held Se Town Hall last night, when theW was a fair attendance, Mr A. Mcllaidj, mesident, presiding. ANNUAL REPOIVI. The annual report congratulated the society on having firmly e9ta^ hcd fl 1 1 self having 107 members. the f lst annual sports resulted in financial loss, but the reserve from members and offl cers' donations were ample to meet a obligations, and leave a balance of £ to carry forward. The directors reported having accepted the offer of the ' New Zealand Athletic Union to conduct the championship running events at the Society's annual sports meeting on ' 20th February next (Band Contest ! 'week), which date the Society has been extremely fortunate in securing.
