At a meeting of the creditors of John Sterling, storekeeper, of Rauriinu, tho Oflicial Assignee stated tnat debtor had disappeared last month >vith his wife and belongings, leaving liabilities amounting to £I4OO and assets estimated at about £4OO. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. So far as he could ascertain, bankrupt must have had considerably over £SOO when he disappeared. Th e meeting adjourned to enable the assignee to realise the assets. The principal creditor said he would do J:is utmost to have the bankrupt appreheaded'
