ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association, Auckland, Tuesday. Kicliard Stevens, aged about fifty, a steerage passenger by the Rarawa, ar« rived at Onehunga from Taranaki this morning. He complained of faintness in the heart. He got permission to wait on board. While a steward was getting him a drink he collapsed, and died before a doctor arrived. Papers show a Commercial Union insurance receipt for two houses in St. Asaph-road, Linwood Christchurch. The police also found among his possessions a standard milk cooler.
