Metre Vickers and tSevens will hold a clearing sale on account of Mr W. 11. Kelsev on the farm, Tariki road, on Tuesday next, the itli inst. Mr Kelsey has got a very nice herd, and as the farm lias been sold, everything is for sale without reserve. Particulars are advertised elsewhere. The fourth of the series of socials in t aid of the forthcoming bazaar will eventuate on Wednesday evening next in St. Joseph's Schoolroom, and promises to excel all others. The ladies' committee have all arrangements well in hand, and are doing their utmost to provide au enjoyable evening's entertainment. The music is of the latest, and is in the capable hands of Mrs. A. George. MeSsra E. J. Carthew and Co. land agents, report having sold the Burlington Club tea rooms to Jliss F. Dixon. Also for the .South Pacific Loan and Mortgage Co., of Wellington, 220 acres on the Carrington road to Mr Stephens, m New Plymouth.
The Garrison Band will render a programme of music on Sunday afternoon at Western l'ark, commencing at 3 o'clock. X collection is to be taken up in aid of the Band funds. Messrs Gilmour and Clarke report g-iod buslne-s in town property, having disposed of the following properties:— Mr J. C. Last-elles' two houses and sections in Cameron strict and two houses and sections in Gilbert street, house and section in Hine street, quarter-acre will dwelling on South road (011 account of the estate of tKe Tate .Mr Rennell, and three sections at Fitzroy, also leasing Mr McMillan's property of 100 acres, Masonic Hall, and acre at Vogeltown.
