ASHBURTON SHOW.

Per Press Association. Ashburton, Last Night. Tlio Arihliurtan A. and P. Association',; thirtieth annual show opened to-day under perfect weather conditions. The attendance was hardly up to the corresponding day of last year, and the number of entries is likewise lower, though their quality was in no wise diminished. Judging was proceeded with to-day, but will not be complete till to-morrow (people's day), when it is expected there will be a very large attendance. There were record entries in the English and Border Leicester classes, and some fine animals are shown.
