UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY'S NEW STEAMERS. A EECORD VOYAGE. Per Press Association. Wellington, Thursday. The Union Company's new intercoloniul steamer Mamma arrived at Melbourne this afternoon after a record passage of 33 days 22 hours from Plymonth, including stoppages. Her average speed was 10.1 knots. She has 400 passengers, including 74 for New Zealand. Among the latter arc Sir James and Lady Mills. Perth, Thursday. The Union Steamship Company's new steamer Maori averaged, 10'/ 2 knots under easy steam on her voyage from the Clyde.
