ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. The body of Miss Jenkins was found drowned in the Waikato river at Merwr. Uisborne, Wednesday. A man named Jones, about 35 years o£ age, was killed accidentally at Whaka.tutu. A tree which he was felling split and crashed on him. Death was instantaneous. Auckland, Wednesday! John McLcod, settler, of Paparoa, was killed by the accidental discharge of a gun while getting through a wire fence. The shot entered his head. Death mast have been instantaneous. The body ivas found lying halfway through the fence.
