SUPREME COURT.

Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night At the Supreme Court to-day Lawrence Angel, who had pleaded guilty to stealing a wntcli, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Alfred Thomas Klliott, who pleaded guilty to a charge of false pretences, was sentenced to.thrne months' imprisonment. In the case of John Hamilton, who had pleaded guilty to throe charges of forgery, counsel stilted he was too ill to be brought forward for sentence. He w.ts now in the hospital suffering from phthisis, and it was possible that he -might die. Sentence was deferred.
