THE WARWICK BIOSCOPE COMPANY.
There was a good attendance at the Theatre Royal last night, when a capital programme was submitted by the above combination. The pictures shown were many and varied—in fact, the iilms were the most entertaining and instructive witnessed locally for some time past. The company has an excellent machi'ie, which with the electric light produced the pictures in a distinct and pleasing manner. Nearly every picture shown was new to a local audience, and many of them were received with hearty applause. The film respecting life in the London Zoological Gardens is worJi going a long way to see. Amongst others especially attractive are "Rip Van Winkle," "Lost in the Snow," "Dick Turpin," and the "Match-seller." Of trick and comical films the management have provided some splendid ones which the audience were not slow to appreciate. Illustrated and humorous songs were given by Messrs. F. Shaw and O. C. Waud, each item being encored. Mi'ts Esther Nordcn, a pianist of excellent expression and artistic manipulation, supplied the music. The company should have a successful tour through the province.
