THE KING'S BIRTHDAY.
Per Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night. A meeting of the Half-holiday Association was hold this evening, and resolved, in, view of the fact that the Government had proclaimed Monday a public holiday, that the shops close on that date. The military tournament and as-satilt-at-arnis, wjiieli was to be held on balurday, has been postponed till Monday.
