In the House, the whole afternoon was occupied discussing reports on petitions. The House went into committee on the Meikle Acquittal Bill, and adjourned at 5.30. On resuming at 7.30, the House in committee considered the Meikle Acquittal Bill. The debate was proceeding at midnight.
