Per Press Association. , Chriatchureh, Last Night. Trafalgar Day was celebrated to-day, by a patriotic ceremony in Victoria Square arranged by the local branch, of the Navy League. Several school cadet corps paraded, and appropriate speeches were delivered by the Mayor, Bishop Julius, Bishop Grimes, and Mr. G. I'. Booth. Wellington, Last Night. There was a fair display of bunting in Wellington to-day in honor of Trafalgar Day. There were no official celebrations, but the Navy League hejd a gathering in the Town Hall, which was crowded His Excellency the Governor attended and was escorted by a guard of honor from the training ship Amokura .Lady Plunket, the Hon. Kathleen Plunket, Sir Joseph Ward and tha Hon. T. W. Hislop were present. The band from H.M.S. Challenger was also in attendance. His Excellenfcy epokel said that as a vicc-p"re«dent°of the League he would send a cablegram Home to-morrow to say what a Wmheent gathering they had had in the centre of the Dominion of New Zealand en Trafalgar Day.
