EGMONT ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Egmont Road Board was held on Saturday. Present: Messrs Kowe (chairman), Salway H. Martin, Sampson, and J. Martin.
As complaints had been made about contractors cutting up the Smart road with drays engaged in carting stone, it was decided to take action against persons offending in -this way. A plan for the deviation of Wills road, along the railway line to Corbett road, was approved of, and the chairman was authorised to sign same. Accounts anfounting to £l6 16s were passed for payment.
