TARANAKI HUNT CLUB.
The annual meeting of the North I Taranaki Hunt Club was held on Saturday. Mr. A. Cliff presided. The balance-sheet showed receipts amounting to £ll3 (S3 lOd, and a credit balance of £sl 13s Cd. The chairman said the season, both from a hunting point of view and financially, had been most successful. Great credit was due to the energetic secretary for the admirable manner in which the arrangements for the meets -had been carried out; also to a hard-working committee. Ho expressed the thanks of the club to those friends who had allowed the members to hunt over their grounds. The balance-sheet was approved, and the usual honorarium of £lO was voted to the secretary. The following officers wore elected for the ensuing year: —Patrons, Messrs. N. E. McTaggart and G. Bayly; president, Mr. S. McGuinness; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. 11. Halcombe, F. Fagan, \V. G. Malone, and F. Watson; committee, Messrs. N. Hill, G. Sole, A. Cliff, A. H. Street, H. George, F. Carthew, W. Thomason, A. R. Standish, G. \V. Hyalop, P. Sampson, F. Pratt,. Taylor, C. Arden, W. Boulton, 3. B. Mabin, E. Julian, with power to add to their number; secretary, Mr. E. P. Webster; auditor, Mr. N. Bewley.
