NEW ZEALAND RIFLE TEAM.

Per Press -Association. Wellington, Friday. The members of the New Zealand rifle team for Australia were sworn in by Colonel Collins this morning and afterwards addressed by the Minister of Defence. The team will leave for Sydney by the Wimmera at 4 o'clock this afteragon. Wellington, Last Night. The team to repre-ont New Zealand at rifle meetings in Australia left I v the Wimmera this afternoon. "i Ms morning the men were addressed by the Minister of Defence and Colonel Collins, and the latter saw them off by the steamer. Captain Barclay, of Dunrdin. goes with the team as adjutant, and the following rifle shots also went to lake part in the various competitions:—W. and C. Speck (Huiroal, J. R. Franklin (Weber), W. dudd (Karori), T. Mug. geridge (Palmerston Xorth), and J. Meyers (Hiknrangi).
