Per Press Association. „„ Wellington, October 2. luo Chief Dairy Commissioner informed a Post reporter that a largo number of samples of butter would be taken during the coming season and analysed by the Department. A special analyst will be stationed at New Plymouth to carry out the analysis under the direction of the Chief Chemist. This step has been taken as the result of the analysis of a number of samples of butter which were found to contain an I excess of moisture over the limit al-1 [ lowed by the British market—namely, I 16 per cent.
