A BARQUE MISSING.
Per Press Association. „ Auckland, Last Night. Hie barque Empreza, owned by Messrs. P. J. Craig, Limited, of Auckland, is missing, and some anxiety is being felt regarding the vessel and her P 1 ® barque, under the command ot Uiptain Gocrtoz, ex-mate of the S! "' e( * fr° m Auckland on lJth August, and called in at Whangarei, where she loaded 320 tons of coal for Kaipara. The barque sailed from » hangarci on oth September, and was sighted off Mangonui on 10th September by Captain Mathieson, of the barque Aldebaran, bound from Newcastle to Auckland. On 19th September the lightkeeper at Cape Maria Van Diemen reported that the Empreza passed south at 1 p.m. on that date, and no tidings have since then been received of tho vessel.
