SUCCESSFUL BRITISH AIRSHIP. ' Received Oct 1, 9.59 p.m. London, October 1. Templar's' military airship "Nulla Secundus" ilew round the camp at Aldershot and circled the . church Bteeple. It attained a speed of twenty miles an hour with the wind and tjvelve miles against it. BALLOON RACE IN FRANCE. PERILOUS EXPERIENCES. Received Oct. I, 9.59 p.m. Paris, October 1, Nineteen balloons competed for this (Jrand Prix of the Aero Club in Paris. The "Lenord," steered by Belobel and Lcfers, won by 160 miles, descending iu the sea north of Ostend. The balloonißts were thrown into the water, but regained the car by means of life lines, and tied themselves in until i a German liner rescued them. Five balloons are still missing.
