ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

Par Press Association. Dunedia, Last Nigb,t., William Barsdale, sixty-six years of age, a hairdresser "by trade, attempted to commit suicide at his house to-day by cutting his throat with a razor. There were also two razor-cuts on his left forearm. The reasons ho gave for the act were that he had been worried by his landlord to pay his rent, that he had nothing to eat, and that his heart had been troubling him. His condition is not considered serious. He was for.merly a resident of Oamaru, where he was known as Professor Barsdale.
