THE BUILDING OF AUCKLAND.

Per Pross Association. Auckland, Wednesday. No loss than £110,031 has been allotted for the erection of business places in Auckland since the beginning of the year.. During the same period 525 dwellings, aggregating £250,000, have been erected or started in the city and suburbs. Public buildings in course of erection or authorised represent a further expenditure of £276,049. Careful calculations show that if this state of things continues during the next twelve months, between two and a-half to three millions sterling will be spent in Auckland by the end of 1910.
