KIGA TERRORISTS SENTENCED.
St. Petersburg, September 23. Twenty-two out of lifty-eight terrorists who were implicated in the rising at Riga in luoj have been condemned" to death, and eighteen to penal servitude for life. The rest were acquitted.

AVENGING THE LODZ MURDER.
Received Sept. 24, lO.i, p.m. St. Petersburg, September 24. Seven workmen and girls at Lodz were shot without trial in" connection with the murder of Silhersteins, a n.illowner who rctuscd his employees' demands for payment during the period thev were on strike.
Every third man of the eight hundred arrested was exiled to Silieria for not preventing the murder.
WORKSHOPS DESTROYED.
INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED.
Received Sept. 24, 10.25 p.m. St. Petersburg, Septemlier 24. ihe workshops at Strentensk, with seven river gunboats which hud been sent thither in sections, have been burnt. ihe officials are suspected of incendiarism in order to destroy traces of peculations.
