Many of the drills and dances executed are of the most dillicuit nature, but notwithstanding this the entire list was given without a hitch. Every detail of the work has been carefully arranged, and evidences of the thorough training received were shown in every movement. Their work is one of the leading features of the programme, and their efforts cannot fail to please. Children performing the skirt dance is a sight not soon to be forgotten. Not lets iniportant is the cake walk by fifty boys and girls gorgeously attired in coon fashion. The little coons are sure to be popular with to-morrow night's audience. The "living whist," participated in by some 61 persons is an elaborate production in itself. It was presented m an admirable style on Friday evening. The costumes are appropriate and add materially to the effect produced by the graceful movements i'i the game. The playing is rendered interesting by the work of the "court jester," whoso willy remarks are ever timely and to the point, and arc sure to prove popular. A few of the good things in store for those attending the Kirmess have been alluded to. There are other equally strong features, and altogether a most interesting entertainment is assured The Recreation Sports Ground Committee, under whose auspices the Kirmess and Living Whist are being given, are receiving considerable encouragement by the good saic of seats.
