A large crowd, including many leading cricketers, gave an enthusiastic farewell | to tiie Marylebone team at St. Pancras stuCion. , Received Sept. 22, 4.53 p.m. London, September 21. On board the Ophir, Mr. C. E. Green proposed the health of the team leaving for Australia, which, he said, if not so representative as it could have been wished, yet was a good one, and he was sure every man would uphold the honour of Marylebone and England. Jones, replying, alluded to the difficulties, of selecting the team. He regretted that several old hands "cried oil'," but this gives the young players a splendid chance, such as they never had before.
