THE DEMANDS. Omnibus and cab drivers.—s7 hours shall be a week's work; not less than £2 7s lid shall be the weekly wage; no driver shall attend stables on a Sunday where a stableman is employed; any employer having 15 or more horses shall employ a stableman; drivel's ordered to return to do a job after having ceased work shall be paid at the rate of 2s per hour or any part thereof; drivers shall not groom horses or do any stable work.

Grooms.—"o hours shall be a week's work, including Sundays; not less than C2 !is >liall be the weekly wage; where a stableman is not employed, the drivei' whose week it is on shall feed and watei all horses and shall receive extra pay for such work as follows: (a) where from 10 to 15 horses, 10s per week extra, (b") where 5 and under, 5s per week extra, (c)' where 5 to 10 horses 7s Od per week extra; every other Sunday off; all overtime- to be paid at the rate of Is per hour or any part thereof.

Carters and expressmen.—47 Vi hours shall be a week's work, with one halfday off per week; not less than £2 5s shall be the weekly wage for one horse. £2 7s Od for two or more horses"; all overtime to be paid at the rate of Is Od per hour or any part thereof.Bakers, butchers, grocers, etc.—s2 hours shall lie one week's work; the wages to be not Jess than .€2 5s per week; vouths—lo to 18 years, £1 10s; 18 to 20, £1 15s.

Bakers.—No youths to be employed where turning out over eight hundred loaves per week: all overtime to be paid for at tli« rate of Is per hour or any part thereof; all carts to be oir roads liy <i pan.; one half day off per week. Drivers of doctors' buggies and carriages.—7U hours shall be a week's work, including Sundays,; not less than £2 Tis shall be the weekly wage; youths—Hi to 18 years. £1 10s per week; 18 to 20, £1 15s; every other Sunday oil'; all overtime to be paid at the rate of Is per hour; vehicles to he oil' the road by 7 p.m. or counted overtime.

Wages in all cases to be paid weekly and by cash, in employers' time, on "a regular day and time to be fixed, including overtime for each week; a week's notice shall be given on the termination of engagement on either side; no sleeping allowed on premises without permit; preference to union men. Notwithstanding anything contained in these recommendations any worker not fully competent by reason of age or physical weakness may be employed at such a lesser wage as may in each case be agreed upon between the employer or employers aud the president of the union.

Holidavs.—The following davs shall be recognised as holidays: The King's Birthday, t.'ood Friday. Easter Monday, Labor liny. Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Boxing Day.
