ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Wedaasdav, Sarah Agnes Silk, wife of Henry Silk, a compositor in the Government Printing Office, died suddenly last night. Deceased recently had an attack of influenza, and had been complaining of pains near her heart.
Auckland, Wednesday. Dr Bull stated at the inquest on Mary Liddiard, who died in Miss McElwain's rooms, that he found symptoms of poisoning by cyanide, but before giving a definite statement he desired to submit certain organs to the public analyst. The inquest was adjourned for that purpose.
Carterton, Wednesday. The body of an elderly man, supposed to be one Peter Jackson, was found last night washed up on the shore of Wairarapa Lake, near Pirinoa. The body was brought to Martinborough.
